Saturday, June 27th Stephanie Anne Johnson & Band + The Turkey Buzzards TICKETS !
We are excited to have Stephanie Anne Johnson and their band at the farm for our very first show of the summer! Pacific Northwest Americana songwriter and performer Stephanie Anne Johnson’s voice is like a prayer. It’s the kind of sound that makes you feel renewed, refreshed, and in love with the higher spirits of the planet. It’s a sound you can bask in, that can wash over you and regenerate the best of you all at once. I think we could ALL use a bit of that as we come out of winter!
I think we could ALL use a bit of that as we come out of winter! Stephanie Anne Johnson has opened for acts that include political figure Bernie Sanders, and artists such as The Indigo Girls, Macy Gray, Mavis Staples, Taj Mahal, Robert Cray, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Steve Earle, Cedric Burnside, and Mason Jennings among many others

The Turkey Buzzards will be opening the show and they are one of my favorite bands. They moved back East, so it’s a rare opportunity to catch them. Much like the duo themselves, the songs range near and far, from the sticky humidity of the Carolinas to the arid and dusty cellars of the West, telling stories of simplistic beauty that unravel through gritty vocals and thoughtful harmonies. The bare authenticity of each song sweeps up the listener for a ride that might wander but will certainly not end in the same place where it began.
Dylan Nicholson (Greensboro, NC) and Eric Patterson (Lodi, CA) formed the The Turkey Buzzards in Morro Bay, CA and have shared stages with John R. Miller, Robert Earl Keen, Jeffery Martin, The Deslondes, Dawes, White Buffalo, Brothers Comatose, and frequently join Willy Tea Taylor as members of The Fellership.

Saturday, July 25th The Builders and the Butchers+ Guests TICKETS !
OHHH HELL YEAH! The Builders and the Butchers are back! You KNOW we love these guys, so excited to have them play again on the farm! They have a new album out too called No Tomorrow- go get it! It falls right in line with their style- dark, lyrical, gothic, but somehow rejuvenating and uplifting at the same time.
Frontfigure Ryan Sollee comments: “The overarching message is that we can find hope in each other and still lead lives full of joy and creativity even when systems and leaders fail us. We believe we have much more that unites us, than divides us and that music is one of the best ways to create a connected shared experience for people.”
Expect a lively show with a friendly band- one of my all time favorites!!
If you’re a fan, go see their album release show for No Tomorrow on April 16th at the Aladdin in Portland- The Builders and the Butchers (featuring members of The Portland Cello Project) w/Shivas & Jared Mees and The Grown Children. Here’s the link for tix to that show!

Saturday, August 8th Cousin Curtiss + Guests TICKETS !
I’ve been excited about this band for a few years and was so excited our schedules worked out this year! I hope you can make it out for this one! If you like Hillstomp, I think you’ll be fond of this band too!
Cousin Curtiss is a powerhouse duo that fuses explosive acoustic rhythms, searing electric leads, and thunderous foot percussion into a sound that’s equal parts grit and soul. Their live show is a surge of energy—fiery, joyful, and unrestrained—where blues runs at bluegrass speed and rock collides with Americana. Cousin Curtiss and Harrison B are a two-man wall of sound, built for rooms that like their roots music loud and alive.
